I think you are under “Customise” section, instead, go to your theme and click on the 3 dots and then click on edit code

Once you are in there, go to footer.theme file and locate the area you want the form to display and paste your code snippet there. All of this is mentioned in the article you mentioned in your question above

Thanks @ArpitBanjara. I am trying to place the email sign up onto a page, but not the footer. Would I still need to edit the code? The article I shared suggested that I use the Klaviyo app to embed the email sign up form onto our Shopify page, but I do not see that option.
