How can I populate a Klaviyo form with a customer's first name on Shopify?

When receiving the confirmation email and accepting to receive emails, subscribers are redirected to a hidden page inside a Shopify store where every product has a discounted price. When entering that hidden page, they get a pop up (from Klaviyo) that says:

“{{ first_name }}, here is a small gift”

In order to get that to show the users’ name, I should send the first name field from Klaviyo to Shopfiy by dynamically appending it to the URL. How can I do that?

Hi there @Iñaki Lopez

Welcome to the Community! Happy to help!

While Klaviyo forms don’t support dynamic variables, which would be a user’s first name, you could create a custom form that would pull the first name of this new subscriber into this form to display on the hidden website page. If you don’t feel comfortable custom coding, I’d reach out to your developer or a Klaviyo partner to set this up for you.

Additionally, I’d recommend checking out this similar Community thread to gain more insight!
