Hi @Fabrice,
Welcome to the Community! Happy to help!
To clarify, there isn’t a general account registration. Your brand’s subscribers can only ‘subscribe’ or be added into Klaviyo via activity they take with your shop ( they buy something) or subscribing to a list.
How are you imaging your customers getting to this subscribe page? Why do you want them to land on a full page form to rather than being encouraged to sign up by a Klaviyo popup or flyout form? Knowing this can help me best understand what need to create and how.
Thanks for participating in the Community!

Our use case is as follows: we are in pre-launch phase; we are doing biscuits sampling and add QR code that redirects to our “subscribe” page (on Shopify, e.g. mybrand.com/subscribe) to capture their email so we can contact them later.
The site is hosted on Shopify. It is very unclear how both connect in the email design, how links use mybrand.com and how all the ootb page like “Subscribe page”. in settings work or not. Before I try the form approach, I was hoping to get some clarification. I’d be open to use a sub-domain on Klaviyo but the linking to our mybrand.co should be smooth (e.g. product embed, reference to “About Us” page, etc).
I screened through your Academy, it’s a bit too “high level”. Is there technical best practices guides or how-tos that go a bit deeper? It seems that your Shopify integration is a bread-and-butter for you and I was hoping to find good integration resources. I also have a few questions on no-code/low-code/code approach in my first thread that I’d loved to be answered. PS- I am not a developer, just a “DIY modern marketer”.
I know it is a lot of questions. Thanks again for helping!
I think there’s been a mistake. You do not mark my question as “Best Answer”. I know that for a fact having built and managed portions of big enterprise software Communities…
Please tell me this a mistake and there are real people here to help.
So I figured things out after playing with Klaviyo settings.
When you sign up, Klaviyo automatically onboard you on the “Consent Page” flow, which is a good idea because it lets you define system-level defaults for your most common email flows. However, the onboarding stops inside the builder and you are never told how to use what you’ve created.
I found that the consent pages are used by default in any list. You can customize it and create your own. So far so good. It’d be nice to add this final step in the onboarding flow though to bring user gratification and explain how it works. I also think this may negatively impact Klaviyo conversion rate on people like me trying out their product.
Still, some issues remain. Most companies want to “brand” the form and run it on their website. The only option is to use an embed form. So far so good right? Not really. The embed forms I tried come with a “Success” step that you cannot remove inside the builder. Why one would lock a step in a builder is behind my comprehension -build platform first?
Anyway, this means that I am stuck with the Success Form which… does not provide a “resend confirmation email”. I did a bit of digging and there are a few creative solutions out there but come on, this is email 101.
Any PM out there? A “quick fix” could entail letting the user delete the step and fallback to the consent page. Nice and elegant. Of course, a more platform focused PM would consider exposing the “resend email notification” as a system variable and let the user (and ISVs) use it :-)
I heard Christmas is coming…
