Hello,

I'm running a store on Shopify that use Klaviyo to track client activity. Of course Klaviyo is going to record all kinds of data on our website.

For some reason, the website cookie consent pop up is inactive due to conflicts with some other add-on applications.

Is there a way for maintain Klaviyo to still tracking client activity without accept cookie?

Hi there @andycan

Are you saying that an outside cookie consent popup isn’t firing or a Klaviyo consent form isn’t firing?

If your Klaviyo .js is enabled on your site, then you should be able to track a user’s actions actions after they make themselves known  via the __kla_id cookie. This cookie can temporarily hold personally identifiable information. Once a visitor is identified, the cookie can pass their data into Klaviyo. A visitor can be identified when they:

  • Fill out a Klaviyo signup form
  • Click a link from a Klaviyo email or SMS message.

Please let us know if you have the .js script enabled on your site and you are having issues tracking your known customers’ activities.

Hope this helps!

-Taylor
