My client has a sign-up form embedded on their Australia-based Shopify store. The Phone Number field is set to Aus by default, and it accepts Aus mobile phone numbers.

However, it doesn’t accept Aus landline numbers, no matter what format we try to add it in. It just keeps saying “This number is invalid”.

Not everyone is going to have a mobile number they want to add in, and the nature of the form means a higher than average number of users may want to add their office landline number instead.

How can we tell the field to accept landline numbers?

Hello @matt.kennedy Landline number will increase the complexity of validation while submitting the phone. Mobile phone numbers are standard number but landline comes with different area codes and not all of them supports SMS.

If you want to capture landline number then you will have to create a custome property for now.

Okay, thank you.
