How to Organically Grow Your List from Nothing

Hi Community! I’ve recently taken on a few new clients and have been focused on growing their lists with limited starting resources, so I just wanted to share some of my tried and true tactics to help boost that growth spurt! Let’s dive in. Opt-in Opportunities First and foremost, I always tell customers to start at the bottom of the sales funnel and work their way up. This holds true for ads, websites, and even email. For email, I would encourage new clients to make sure they are giving customers every opportunity to opt in. This includes opt-ins during checkout, back-in-stock notifications, and SMS. In my experience, I personally think collecting SMS opt-in right away is a good thing, even if you're not planning on using SMS in the immediate future. SMS requires some more legal hoops to jump through so it takes a little longer to collect those opt-ins, which means if you want to see growth, you’ve got to get started now! New Customer Profile UI Feedback

Hey folks, just wanted to give some feedback and thoughts on the new customer profile UI that is rolling out next week.There seems to be a lot of dead space on the page that could be better used for conveying information. As it is now, there is a bunch of blank area around the main details and even within them, while the activity log is crammed over into the side:Activity log was very helpful for me to see what emails certain profiles were getting, but now there’s a lot more scrolling I’ll have to do than with the old UI. For my use, it was generally one of the most important parts of seeing a profile, though I know that might not be the case for everyone. Still, I’d like to see if have more space, perhaps by condensing some of those dead spaces on the page. (Side note, seeing emails with their headlines was wayyyy more convenient than seeing by internal title for me. Could we get an option to switch?)The switch of metrics to another tab is fine, though that was generally the second mo

Adding past profiles to flows has never been easier

We’re excited to announce improvements to adding past profiles in Flows! Add Past Profiles (formerly known as “Backpopulation”) allows you to queue people for flow actions retroactively. It’s most commonly used when you set a new flow live but want to queue contacts that would have qualified had the flow existed earlier. Adding past profiles ensures that you hit every eligible past contact with the right message, at the right point in time. What’s NewBackpopulation is now called “Add Past Profiles” to clearly reflect functionality and eliminate confusion. You’ll see an “Add Past Profiles” button in the top right of the flow builder While the functionality for adding past profiles (or backpopulating) remains the same, you’ll now see a clearer set of options for how profiles will be added to the flow. This makes it easier to confidently add past profiles into your flow Clearer distinctions between what makes a past profile eligible for this function along with where they will be added
