Can someone explain why my sending branded domain is still pending?

How long has it been since you updated your DNS? It can take some time (0-24 hours is what I’ve seen) before it updates.

Hey Shannon! I’d recommend you do a quick DNS lookup here: https://mxtoolbox.com/DnsLookup.aspx to make sure you’ve set the nameservers correctly. If you have - It’s best to give it a little more time. If not - you can refer to this helpful article and troubleshoot: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417768780827 . Unfortunately, without providing more information, this is the best I can do I.

If you’re still stumped, I’d recommend taking the steps I outline in this thread:
- Ensure your TXT value isn’t missing your Public API Key (also known as your Account ID)
- Investigate if the necessary DNS records have not been added to your domain (If you do not have access to these, you can re-add the branded sending domain in Klaviyo, but this time, please select the "static" option. This will allow you to complete the branded sending domain set up with 3 x CNAME records and 1 x TXT record instead)
