Hi,

We are having a problem with a section of an email campaign that uses two splits of 2 images, with a single image in between.

On most email clients it is fine, however on Outlook it is badly broken. The images seem to be escaping their boundaries (I assume this is a flex layout rather than an old-style table) and force the rest of the content out to be too wide. I have attached two images to illustrate this.

How do we craft campaigns so that we can achieve the target layout on Outlook? We can’t send it out like this.

Many thanks,

Gareth

(Win 10, Outlook version 2407 - not the latest I know, but many of our users will be using it)

Target layout, this is what we want it to look like
But this is what happens in Outlook...

Hey @dartacus

While some versions of Outlook use Webkit (a modern browser engine that interprets and renders HTML in expected ways) to display emails, many others use Microsoft Word as a rendering engine. Because of this, an email may look slightly different in Outlook than when you initially design and preview in Klaviyo. If you choose to optimize your emails for Outlook, we recommend using a tool like Litmus or Email on Acid to test your messages on various devices and inboxes.

Hope this helps

Thanks @stephen.trumble .

I’d forgotten I’d asked this, tbh. We’ve had it re-occur twice since then, but my user was able to work around it by using a simpler layout.

Litmus or equivalent would be amazing, but budget etc etc
