Hello,
Is there way i can set up the following scenario:
1) Leads sign up to a specific sign up form to get a discount and they are put in to a specific flow to get their code
2) These leads should not fall into the welcome flow
3) If i put them in another segment, how can I merge them into my main list without them getting into the welcome flow?
Have your main list as trigger for both flows.. the Welcome flow and that discount delivery email flow
Then you can do 2 things..
- add conditional splits at the beginning of both of those flows where the split would say property about someone source is that form that person subscribed to.. so in welcome it would be if this is the source end the flow for them immediately and if not let them go through the flow, while for the other flow it would be the other way around if they are coming with source from that form send them the flow email delivering discount and if not end that flow for them
- and the second option is again with conditional splits but also with a specific property. One the specific form on the button you can add another property for example add property NoWelcomeFlow with value True when they submit the form by clicking that button and then have again split in both flows.. in welcome say if nowelcomeflow property is true end the flow or if not send welcome emails.. and the switch in the other flow would be if the owelcomeflow is true send the discount email or if not end the flow for them
Hii
The flows look good.. the only thing you need to be sure here is that people actually get that source when filling the right form.. so in the form settings for the button there is automatic source property.. make sure that it is set to this source that form that should provide the discount.
And also you can give 5-10 min delay before the split to make sure people have the time to get the property on their profile before this check happens
I’ve filled up from the specific form source and its attached to my $source correctly but i got the welcome series email instead of the other.
