I’m trying to create a flow for someone who purchases a digital subscription product; however, I think it would be set up as two separate flows?

The digital subscription product would automatically be emailed to the customer on the 15th of each month after their recurring charge processes. Any new customers who subscribe after the 15th would receive this same email flow. However, if a customer signed up between the 1st and 14th, then they would need a separate email flow thanking them for their order and letting them know that their first order will be fulfilled on the 15th.

What would be the best way to set this up?

Hi @MN622

Thank you for posting in the Community!

To set this up, you can use two flows:

  1. Flow 1: For customers who sign up between the 1st and 14th

  • Trigger: Placed order equals digital subscription.
  • Send a “Thank you” email explaining that their subscription will start on the 15th.
  • Add a time delay until the 15th to send the first delivery email.
  1. Flow 2: For Ongoing Subscriptions

  • Trigger: Recurring charge on the subscription.
  • Set the email to send on the 15th each month, ensuring it includes the digital product.

This way, new customers get the right message at sign-up, and everyone receives their digital subscription on the 15th.

I hope this helps!

Thank you! However, I do not see how to specify the days of the month for 1st-14th and 15th-31st for each flow. I can only seem to set times for number of hours, number of days such as 5 days, or days of the week such as Monday.

I’ve figured out that I can create a segment with customers who sign up between the 1st and 14th, but it is month specific, which means this segment would have to be recreated every month. Is there a better way to go about this?
