Hi all, I’m changing my eccomerce store from shopify to Ikas. I used Klaviyo before and want to continue with it. Ikas has no real integration, but I can work with API Key. Is it possible to change the interface from shopify to Ikas? How can I connect my new signup form with klaviyo?

Thank you for your help

Denise

Hi @denise, welcome to the community!

So I’ve never actually heard of Ikas until now, so it seems like a new ecommerce platform that doesn’t have a native integration with Klaviyo (yet?).

For any platform that Klaviyo doesn’t have a native integration, you’ll have to implement a custom integration - luckily it seems that Ika has a developer API here:

The scope of doing this is requires a developer, and you’ll have to see how to map the various events/metrics from their API into the standard events that Klaviyo expected (Placed Order, Checkout Started, etc).  IYou can see more about that in the Klaviyo developer documentation on how to implement custom integrations here:

If you simply want to connect Signup Forms with the new platform, you can do that by adding the Klaviyo javascript code in the first step of the process:

Hope this helps.

Hi @retention, I found out they already deloved an API, so happy with that. But I have one problem maybe you know something about that: I have a signup-form for my newsletter on my landing page. Is there any possibility, where I can connect this signup-form with klaviyo? That all emails will land in klaviyo database? This would be perfect!
