This is a super annoying one for my customers!

Ive just started collecting reviews from my customers, they are all trying to upload images to thier review but keep getting this error “invalid image file, please try again with a new image file’. 

Since everyone use thier iphone/ cellphone to do the review I would have thought that this is something klavio would have thought of, it seems to be only when you are uploading images from your phone to the platform. 

As we all know images in a review trumps just a text review and have explicityly ad=sked for images but no one can upload them. I hope someone can help! is there something I have done wrong have i missed something? im sure klavio would havethought of this considering evrone uses thier phone. 

Im already loosing out as people are now submitting reviews without images and i cant go back and change this, very annoyed at this!

Just tried this again on a desktop and having the same issue! see image of mobile upload error. Is it because the image is too large? would seem crazy as pretty much this is how everyone would upload a review so by doing this Klavio are cutting out a huge conversion tool. 

 


One of my customers is having this issue too. What are the image size & file types required? Please have a more detailed error message so the customer can modify their file!

Is this still occurring? I can do some investigating on my end if it is.

@chloe.strange yes, I believe it is still an issue. I worked out with that customer by asking her to upload a png rather than a jpeg and to try to reduce the file size. She was able to upload the image in the end but it would be helpful if Klaviyo could tell customers what file attributes uploads need to have.
