What is an easy electronic method to add names to an email list at a live event? Did not find a “Text to join” option within Klaviyo.

Hi @CookieChris,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

There are lots of ways to approach this. If your audience is relatively tech savvy, I would simply display a QR code either on your slides or printed out on posters. This could link back to a dedicated sign up form and people can sign up directly from their own mobile device.

Depending on the type of event the other option would be to use an iPad at the event where people can sign up. You can redirect the sign up form back to the original page on completion so that the next person can put their details in.

I hope this is helpful and that your event runs well!

Thanks
David

Hi @CookieChris

@DavidV suggestions are good ideas for quick ‘self-service’ lead capture for people on the move. The list would need to be single opt-in.

However, if you have event staff asking qualifying questions to determine interest/lead quality for post-event follow-up priority, you could also create a Klaviyo form/list (single opt-in) only for staff use. Those questions/responses will be captured in the profiles as custom properties for post-event segmentation.

Regards

Andy
