How to get analytics on lists and segments

We have various different lists and segments and would love to find out more about the users in each list and segment. E.g. how have they grown over time? How many in specific lists and segments have placed orders, how frequently and of what value?

Klaviyo offers powerful analytics to understand your lists and segments better. Here's how to access the relevant data:

1. List & Segment Growth:

  • Navigate to Audience > Lists & Segments.
  • Click on a specific list or segment.
  • You'll see a List Growth button displaying subscriber growth over time.

2. Segment Engagement & Order Analysis:

  • In the list or segment view, click the Segment Growth button.
  • This opens the Klaviyo analytics dashboard for that specific audience.

Key Metrics:

  • Member Engagement: See open rates, click-through rates, and other engagement metrics for emails sent to that list or segment.(Run a engagement report)
  • Ecommerce Analytics (if integrated): Track order activity within the segment, including number of orders, order value, and purchase frequency. You can filter by specific products or timeframes.

Additional Tips:

  • Use Klaviyo's Custom Reports feature to create reports tailored to your specific needs.
  • Leverage Klaviyo segments to analyze specific demographics or behavior within your audience.
  • Consider Klaviyo funnels to visualize user journeys and identify areas for improvement.
