I was testing my lists and noticed that when someone doesn’t sign up for emails through the main popup but instead goes directly to the checkout page, enters their email, and then doesn’t complete the order, Klaviyo/Shopify doesn’t automatically pick up that email. Is that how it's supposed to work? Is the only way to trigger the abandoned checkout email flow for them to first enter their email in the website popup and then proceed to checkout?
The reason I ask is that if they sign up through the main popup on the website and then also go to the checkout, these are two different flows for me, and it could mean they would receive emails from both flows (Welcome series & Abandoned checkout series).
If this is the only way, which series should I prioritize first? The Welcome series or the Abandoned Checkout series? They’re both pretty good. I can’t find a way to have them not conflict..
