Why do my campaign URLs say "trk.klclick.com"?

In a Campaign, we include external links different from our domain for webinars. When a recipient receives the email these urls are different! It seems like a redirection.For example, we insert urls like attendee.gotowebinar.com/… and we receive email with urls like  trk.klclick.com/…Do you know why it happens that? It causes an issue as these campaigns are blocked from many recipients’ email service.

Using The First Name Code

Hi everyone, I’ve been having a problem using the code to insert the customer’s first name into my emails. It seems like it works some of the time, and other emails I end up seeing just have a blank space. I sent out a holiday sale email this morning, and when I saw my copy, I realized it was just a blank space where the first name should be. This is very disappointing, embarrassing, and makes my emails look unprofessional because there is a comma, a space, and then an exclamation mark rather than a name inserted. Does anyone know how to ensure that the first name is always going to appear properly? Thank you,Meryl

Hey, does anyone know if you can use the first name in the headline? Can I just put in the code “ {{ person.first_name }} “ in there and it will show correctly? Thanks!

Canva HTML export problem

Hello, I’m trying to export HTML template from Canva into Klaviyo (Email Template) I’m able to copy the code from Canva and paste it into Klaviyo along with the unsubscribe tag. I end up with a total of 17 lines and am able to see the preview with no problem. The problem comes in after I save, exit out, and try to preview again. I view the code in Klaviyo and it has 14 lines instead of 17.Can anyone help in this matter? Can't see this email? {% web_view 'Open in your browser' %} .

Just a question that I cannot find in any other resources.Does anyone know how the variable below is used? Do the campaign or flow need to be active before it is able to link to a URL that opens the browser. I am just getting a placeholder when I test this variable. Bearing in mind the template I am using is is not published and I am on a free version.Can't see this email? {% web_view 'Open in your browser' %} . Thanks for your help in advance.Paul

Abandoned Cart vs Checkout Started

Is it general practices to have both abandoned cart flows flows going at the same time where one triggers Added to Cart and another triggers the Checkout Started or is one preferred over the other?

I accidentally deleted my flow emails - can I recover it?

I made a change to one of the first conditions of a flow tree and mistakenly deleted everything after it, including the emails I had setup and all the following conditions. Yikes! Is there a way to revert back?

Embedding a 1 question survey into a flow email

tl;dr: I want to embed a simple, one-question survey on a flow email without people having to click away/load a page. Klaviyo doesn’t seem to have a native way to do this, nor does it accept Google Form HTML embeds. Help! How can I achieve this?------I’m trying to get new customers to share how they found out about our brand (basically attribution or source of conversion) without them navigating away from the email so we can collect as many responses as possible.The issue is that I can’t seem to find any documentation that Klaviyo can do this. Key things to note:I only need one question answered; it can be either checkboxes or multiple choice. This is the first email new customers will receive in a post-purchase flow I tried this with Google Forms (detailed belwo) but I don’t need to use this. I need to be able to easily view collated/total results (e.g. xx% of people answered option A etc) without having to manually intervene on counting or otherwise. The first method I tried with Goo

Using {{ event.extra.checkout_url}} to recover abandon carts, but I can't click the link inside the email.

Hello everyone,I hope you are doing well :)I’m facing a problem inside an account that never happened before: when we send the cart recovery emails with a button that contains “{{ event.extra.checkout_url}}”, we can’t click on the button inside the emails.It seems like there is no link attached and the button doesn’t get treated as a button.(the fields are populated, so when I send a test email it should work)How can I fix this?Thank you and have a great day,Luca

How To Add Order Detail to Confirmation Email Template ?

Hi,I am doing a custom confirmation order template but I am stuck for hours because I don't know how to properly add order detail.I have tried to copy/paste the order detail from the shopify notification template section but I get multiple errors. Do you have a order confirmation example template with order detail could use ? I looking for some king of equivalent to this :  EDIT : Also, I sync my shopify account with klaviyo but I still get email template from spopify and not klaviyo even if I set up my email template and flow is live.Maybe you could connect to my account and see what is wrong, I am about to give up...

These must be manually scheduled to be sent at a fixed point in time. A few examples of campaigns are sales promotions, educational blog content, or new product launches.A flow is an automated sequence that is set in motion by a specific trigger and then includes one or more steps. Flows can be built to send timely emails or SMS messages, or they can simply apply certain actions, like updating a specific field on a profile. These are usually a series of messages that are constantly running in the background hitting your customers at the right point in time with the right message. Two examples of high revenue generating flows are the welcome series or the abandoned cart.Happy sending!

Why is my segment triggered flow not sending emails?

Hi there!I have set up a flow based on people from our mailing list who have viewed products on our Shopify site. Once they view, they become part of a segment called “Potential Purchasers”. We set up a flow for anyone being added to that group, but no emails have been sent. Would they all be blocked by “smart send” at this stage? If so, shouldn’t they appear as “skipped” at least? Thank you!

Exclude products from abandoned cart emails

Hello!I am wondering if it is possible to exclude certain items from the dynamic table block for the abandoned cart e-mails. Or only include certain items/ collections. These are items that are “in” their cart but I do not want to send them to encourage them to finish checking out. For example I have the cloverly app for offsetting carbon footprint for shipping and I also have an app that I use to have multiple options for products. I don’t want these items showing in the abandoned cart e-mail. Is there a way to go about excluding these?Thanks so much for any help!Natalie

How to add "Add to Cart" snippet with Shopify Impulse theme

Hi! I am trying to add the “add to cart” snippet and have followed the instructions:https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001396711-Create-a-Custom-Add-to-Cart-Event-for-ShopifyHowever, I am using Shopify Impulse theme and every Add to Cart button has it’s own button ID that includes the product number.  Should I add a line for every product?I tried both methods in the hyperlink above.  I also tried:<script type="text/javascript">  var _learnq = _learnq || [];  document.querySelector('add-to-cart').addEventListener('click',function (){    _learnq.push(['track', 'Added to Cart', item]);  });</script> None of these work.  When I try to add a new abandoned cart flow using “added to cart”, Klaviyo does not recognize that the snippet is installed.Thank you!

[Shopify] Collect customer birthday on shopify checkout form to be used in Klaviyo flows

Hi, I am aware we can collect customer birthdays using the sign up form, however, I’m interested in knowing if we can put the birthday data collected during the checkout field as checkout attribute on Shopify plus to be attached as a custom field on customer profiles to be used on Kalivyo flows making use of birthdays? How to trigger a flow when customer submits contact form on Shopify?

Hello Community!!We are on Shopify. As part of our sales process, our customers submit an inquiry form on our website with some information we required to initiate the process. We want to trigger a flow, once the customer submits the contact form to send them the first email to schedule a consultation meeting and then a series of emails after the appointment is booked. How can we trigger a flow with that action? I can't find that option in de default triggers from the Shopify integration?Thanks a lot,Ronald

Why Are My Abandoned Cart Flows Not Sending?

Can someone check my triggers for the Abandont Cart. I have these three flows, but see that the Abandoned Cart has not worked at all. Are my triggers wrong? My Abandoned Checkout and Browse Abandonment have been sending. They all have Smart Sending on, but I’m not sure if that’s the problem.

How to trigger an email flow with a Signup Form

I have set up a 10% off coupon Signup Form in Klaviyo. I would like to use anyone that submits their email address to this Signup Form popup to then trigger the email Flow I have created for these visitors. But when I go to choose the trigger for my Flow the Signup Form list does not show up.

Shareable Campaign Web Link

Hello, I am possibly transitioning from Mailchimp. I normally create an email campaign that I use as a weekly newsletter that I send out to my customers. I would then take the campaign archive link and use it in text messages to drive other customers to the same newsletter. How can I do this in Klaviyo? I want to create an email campaign and then link to the completed web document via text.  Thanks!
