Add customers that had signed up in Shopify that were imported to “profiles” to a list.

All I want to do is add customers that had signed up in Shopify that were imported to “profiles” to a list.I have exported customer csv from Shopify, import to list, DOES NOT WORK.I downloaded Klaviyo “Skipped Records” from that failed upload, nothing is indicated as wrong or anything about why they were skipped, only message: “Check that the correct type was selected for each column during field mapping.”Re-uploaded and changed the “type” everywhere I could to every option available, DOES NOT WORK.Hours of searching for an answer and nothing but the same stupid answers that talk about segmenting lists and harvesting new customers to a list, BUT NOTHING about how to use the list we already have.On the verge of dumping Klaviyo.

Moving profiles to a list

Hello I’m new to Klaviyo and already lost-   I integrated with shopify- I can see my shopify customers in the Klaviyo profiles, but how to I add them up to a list?   {I have looked at previous messages in the community and didn’t find the answer).  Thanks

Removing the Event Value From Profile Activity Object

Hello. When posting a profile activity via Klaviyo’s API, the activity object has a value property that is named according to the event, e.g. if the event is “Exception” the property will be “Exception Value: 0.00”. How do I remove this property? I’m not sure why it is populating automatically.

Abandoned Cart Flow - Pull Product Option's Name

My store is through Big Commerce, all of our products include Variants/Options, so when utilizing the Abandoned Cart flow, it would be helpful to include the size of the product on the email.Is there a way to pull the Products Option Name to include in the title of the Product?I’m not entirely familiar with Klaviyo’s variables, so any help/insight would be appreciated.

Viewed Product tracking - how to add for a new shopify theme like Motion

I have a browse abondement flow, but it’s not activated because viewed product tracking is not enabled by default. How can I enable this for a new shopify theme like: Motion. I don’t have a standard product.liquid file in the code of this theme.The second part of the question: what results will I actually achieve with this, will it actually be able to find email addresses of users who go on my website to only view a product and not ATC (if they come from a source like Facebook). Thanks in advance.

Email Designs: Process and Standards with your Graphic Design + Marketing Teams

Hey All Klaviyo users! We have been using Klaviyo for 6 months and it has been a game changer for our email marketing! Our new area of focus is optimization for design. I am curious to understand other company’s process to design an email and your best practices. We have a skilled design team, but I want to get them super optimized for email and social and the resources I am finding on the internet are basic level - looking for something more robust.  Do you have brand standards specific for email that lists out things like header font size, sub-header fonts and sizes, button standards, etc. If so, would you be willing to share me on that doc? I’ll sign an NDA if needed ;)  What design platforms are you using - is your design team designing every part of the email in Adobe (or something similar) and splicing it out? Or maybe just designing the hero images and then your email marketer adds the text and other items in the Klaviyo template? We have Figma for website design, should we be m

I have a pop-up where users can sign up to receive a promo code. What's the best way to handle this in Klaviyo?

I started by creating a flow that's triggered whenever a user signs up for my "newsletter", but that doesn't make sense to me... If someone makes a purchase, I'm assuming they're automatically subscribed to my newsletter. If that's the case, I don't want them receiving this flow after they've already purchased. If someone signs up via my footer (which doesn't promote the discount), I don't want them receiving this flow. I just want them added to my newsletter. What's the solution here? I imagine this is very common.

Having trouble uploading new emails from spreadsheet?

Hello! I need someone’s help. I have a list of emails in a spreadsheet I need to add to our email subscribers, but somehow it won’t upload due to there being columns present. The thing is - there are no extra columns. I deleted all extra columns and rows, converted the spreadsheet to a CSV, even moved it over a new spreadsheet and downloaded it as a CSV. Opened the downloaded version and turned that into a csv from Numbers on Mac. What am I doing wrong? Nothing seems to be working.

Unique coupon error in campaign.

Hello.My name is Takahashi.I would like to include a unique coupon in my campaign.I have issued a coupon and pasted the following code.{% coupon_code 'NAME_OF_YOUR_COUPON' %}However, I get an error.Error statement"Your dynamic coupon cannot be used in campaigns. If you would like to include a dynamic coupon, please contact support to enable the Uploaded Coupons feature."Why is this? I would like support.Thank you.

How to UPDATE opt outs via CSV?

2 Wordpress Sites - 1 domain - 1 sub domain - only 1 woocommerce

So I have a domain with a sub domain. the sub domain is the only one running woocommerce and sales. the main domain is informational only. can i use klaivyo with the same public key on both for forms, pop ups, etc., and then just have the wordpress linked to the subdomain?

Subscription Start Date Trigger - Meal Plan Notifications

I’m currently managing an account for a company that offers different meal plan subscriptions ranging from a 1 day trial to 3/7/10 and 30 day intervals and options to choose from 1 - 3 meals per day (shopify store).Currently enabled through a custom app is an option for customers to choose when they can start their meal plan (with a buffer of 2 days from date of order placed).Which is reflected as a metafield in shopify order.My question is how do I setup a post purchase thank you flow, based on the start date trigger where my objective is to: 1. Send a notification 1 day before Start date (“Your plan starts tomorrow”)2. Follow up with renewal offers when their meal plan subscription ends (day 3/7/10 or 30)Unable to figure this out with current Date Trigger flows. Also not sure how shopify can communicate this start date to Klaviyo for the event to trigger.Appreciate any helpful responses. Thank you!

Klaviyo not pulling in Facebook Leads

Hi!We set a Facebook AD campaign live on Friday to grow our email list, however the sign ups haven’t been pulling into Klaviyo and are therefore not receiving their welcome email. Has anyone experienced this before and can help?

Klaviyo email automation not working

Hey peeps, currently I’ve designed my sign up pop up form also create a new list and also runing flows, but problem here is my customers are not receiving welcome emails as I’ve make for them, other thing here is, in my list,it shows only 1 memeber but in sign up form there are 3 memebers. Why is it so?

Klaviyo list is not collecting the profiles

So Iam trying for hours to integrate my shopify to my klaviyo account and I have integrated it and it works and I also enabled the settings and everything in order to collect the emails from shopify, but the problem is Iam using a third party theme not the ones from shopify itself. I tried to look up some information on the community site and so on, but with no sucsess. PLEASE help me to integrate my klaviyo account with my third party theme (Debutify), I have read that I have to insert a particular code or something, in order to work properly, buts its already there. Dont miss understand me it is working because I can see that klaviyo is creating profiles for my customer emails that sign up from my newsletter of the website and so on, but klaviyo doesnt know where to put them in, in wich list and i have already enabled that in the setting that klaviyo should take the profiles to my newsletter list, but its still not working. I have also added the different tags in my third party theme

Segmenting by region

Hey guys.If I want to segment by region, do all users must have that info as a custom property, or under “location” alone should also work?Not sure what’s the difference between the two, and how Klaviyo operates in that manner.Thank you guys.

Who will receive abandoned cart emails

I am setting up the “abandoned cart” flow and am a bit confused on who will receive it. I understand it will go to people who have added to their cart but have not started the check-out process, but will that user have had to signed up for my emails beforehand? ie - will the abandoned cart email only send to customers on my newsletter list?

embedded sign up form not allowing inputs

Hi :-)I’ve just contacted a bunch of people to sign up via my embedded sign up email form and they can’t input info into email and name fields.I’ve checked the link and it seems to be right. I’m using Woocommerce and it was working a week ago and I’ve only tweaked the appearance since then.Please help!
