Abandoned Cart & One Page Checkout

Hi there,It’s quite an easy solution.You just need a flow where the trigger is “Started checkout” then add a time delay from 20 minutes to 1 hour.You can then use flow filters or conditional splits to check if someone has purchased since the flow began to then send the first email.Bit like this:Hope that helps.James | Colewood Digital

Flow filters vs Conditional Splits

Thanks for the feedback and insight @retention and @ebusiness pros.I think I’m going to stick to my conditional splits. As this has the benefit of letting users exit the flow earlier if they have completed the desired action i.e purchased since the flow began. This way I know that they are definitely not going to receive the following emails.And if they’ve exited that flow, then any other post purchase flows can kick in knowing they won’t get further abandoned emails.

Ah I see. In that case using a preference centre on the first (sales) account, you could then potentially trigger a Zapier automation that then adds the user to your other account.You’ve probably need a separate list in your first account that users would ‘subscribe’ to, but this would just be used to trigger the event.Then you can add subscriber to a different Klaviyo account in the next step.

Well, I wouldn’t have the two accounts, just a single account with two lists for different purposes.Apart from sending different content is there a difference between the two accounts?

I’m pretty sure you could do this by creating a different list within your first account just for that purpose.Alternatively setting up your preference page to include ‘Educational content’ as a preference.Then only sending the content to those who’ve requested it or are part of the new list.

Incentivising without discount codes

It is hard to incentivise people without a discount code these days!Maybe use reviews of your products/services from customers to highlight the value of your product. Or if there’s a particular USP you have that other competitors don’t, it could be your edge.
