"Viewed Page" Segment Technique

I’m looking for a way to build a segment based on whether someone viewed any page including (www.brand.com/folder1/) so that it includes User who viewed it and all other extensions of that URL.When I use my Viewed Page filter, it forces me to choose an exact URL, rather than using a includes statement.The logic could be [Viewed Page] when [URL] includes [www.brand.com/folder1]Rather than[Viewed Page] when [URL] is [www.brand.com/folder1] How do I get around this limitation?

Black List By Domain

We currently work with several market places and its necessary to suppress these profiles from receiving any type of communication, including transactional messages. It seems silly to have to go into each flow and update to make sure these emails are being filtered. Then go in weekly and download then re-upload to manually suppress these profiles. I’ve worked with other ESPs where you could just blacklist based on domain. Is this something that’s in the works for Klaviyo? Automatically being able to suppress a profile through a flow update or through an account level blacklist would be really important. There are other use cases I can think of and have come across, but this is currently top of mind.

How to link button to your Update Preference page

So far we’ve been sending out one email to all our subscribers. We’d like to better understand our customers, their needs and preference to better serve them emails that are relevant. I’m planning to send them an email to update their email preference. I’ve updated the default preference page with additional questions using the checkboxes option. What I’m struggling with is actually linking it to a button in the email. When I used {% manage_preferences %} in place of the button URL, it displays as:

Subscriber list not migrating

Hi! I have emailed support multiple times however am not hearing anything back. I have migrated from OmniSend to Klaviyo but my subscribers are not showing up. I have all my customers but it is saying only 1 is subscribed. How can i fix this??

Send a unique URL links to email contacts

Hi Everyone! I would like to ask if there is a way to send to each email address on a mailing list a unique URL from a CSV file containing an X amount of URLs. The final outcome would be each email address receiving an email with a unique and personal URL and having that URL linked to a button that someone would click on within the email. I’m interested in getting feedback on how this can be achieved easily in Klaviyo and in general (perhaps even outside of Klaviyo). For example, how would a business typically about doing this routinely?Thanks in advance for your feedback and help!

Merge Bug with Supressed Profile

Having issues with an account which was merged.  Scenario:Old account is suppressed due to an email bounce.  The email address had a typo in it. New account is active with corrected email address. Customer set up a new account rather than correcting the error & customer has been using new account for a few weeks, receiving emails and is subscribed Merged old account into new account to carry over historical data New account is now “Suppressed Due to Bounce” even though this account has a proper email, customer receives and opens emails regularly. No way to remove suppression.

Date Specific Flow?

Hi everyone :)I’d like to know if this is possible: Our company sells seasonal treats (candies) and we get a lot of first time purchasers during the holiday season as we have a ‘holiday collection” Is it possible to create a date specific flow in Klaviyo wherein all of those who bought our holiday collection enters a flow and gets emails about our upcoming seasonal products?  The way I envisioned is: December 1, 2023: Customer A orders our Holiday Collection.December 5, 2023: Customer B orders our Holiday Collection January 15, 2024: I would like customer A and Customer B to receive an email from a flow (on this day, January 15) telling them they can order our Valentine’s Day Collection with a Klaviyo dynamic discount code as an incentive. March 20, 2024: I would like Customer A & B to get an Easter Collection email from a flow that they can order this collection with a Klaviyo dynamic discount code as an incentive. Is this possible to execiute in a flow or should I just make indiv

Unable to filter out invalid email addresses

We have started activating some of our flows over the last three weeks, and we have noticed that some of our emails bounced from our 'Post Purchase Thank you' flow. Upon investigation, we found that most of the affected email addresses contained domains such as mydeal, kogan, agorahub, etc. Initially, we were unable to filter out email addresses with these domains. Consequently, we decided to make some changes by filtering them out and deleting their profiles. Unfortunately, after a week of observation, we noticed that the filter was not working and didn't solve our problem. Could you please help us fix this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, Please see the attached photos for reference.

Accounting for Guest profiles in variables

Hello all,I came to the realization that I have a large number of profiles named “Guest Customer.”Whether this is because of me not collecting names on Klaviyo or Shopify is irrelevant, and I’ve fixed the issue anyway.I’m not going to go through hundreds of profiles one-by-one and rename them.Is there a way to modify the customer name variable ({{ first_name|default:''|capfirst }}) to make Guest profiles show as the default term between the apostrophes?Otherwise, when I send emails, it opens with “Hey Guest!”Which is not ideal.Alternatively, is there a way to change profile information in bulk?Thanks for any help!

List Growth

To me this should be simple math - but I feel like I’m missing something. Main marketing list November - 250,143 members. In the list growth view it says: Total subscribes - 3,582 and total unsubscribes - 549So net growth for the list is 3,033. However when I look at the marketing list size in October it was - 247,380. So doing the math November minus October the result is 2,763 which is a completely different number to the net growth. Why is there a difference of 270 members? Who are they, where are they coming from? If they’re not being listed in the subscribes and unsubscribes, I can’t understand why there is a discrepancy. Can someone please enlighten me?

Secure unsubscribe from the list

Hi all, I would like to have something similar to double Opt-in but related with unsubscribe action. Right now when I click on the unsubscribe link I am redirected to the page where I need to put an email address. Let's assume that I know who subscribed that list so I can put email address that does not belong to me and unsubscribe someone.Is it possible to send a confirmation email in order to unsubscribe? Or maybe there is another way how I can provide secure unsubscribing?

3rd party lists

Good day all,I’m working with a very credible, but not well known ESP.  They will be supplying email lists that have been through a permission pass - meaning they are opt-in and CAN SPAM compliant.  They quietly supply various services to many of the Fortune 500, so they would not compromise their and their client’s reputation by spamming or selling lists that are not 100% opt-in.This page suggests that Klaviyo does not allow third party lists.  Can anyone shed some light on this? There must be a some exceptions. Thanks in advance…..Jim

Hi Folks,New here and would really appreciate some advice on how to best track Memberships in Klaviyo.I'm trying to track club memberships for both adult and kids categories. I use GoCardless for payments, and I want to distinguish between those on a free trial, active paying members, and inactive members.When exploring my options, I initially created tag groups but then quickly realised it doesn’t appear you can apply tags to profiles and only lists, segments or campaigns.So instead of tags, I'm exploring the use of perhaps custom properties.The workflow is this..Free Trial - Person signs up via form for free trial to gym / club and gets added to a List.Active Member - Person signs up GoCardless form, I use Zapier to add them to a List.Inactive Member - Person cancels GoCardless, I use Zapier to tag them.So, now using Klaviyo, any advice or tips on setting this up would be greatly appreciated! Not 100% sure if using custom properties will be the best solution or if I should have diffe

Quick Add feature not working

I’m trying to use ‘Quick Add’ to add contacts to a singular list as I want to create a personalised flow for this group. When I try to add them, I am met with an error message saying unable to add. I’ve looked at the guidelines and am meeting all the requirements eg they have given consent, the email addresses are in correct format. I’ve tried it with my own email address and that works! Any ideas, help!

I’d like to encourage SMS sign ups and want to send out an email to engaged customers asking them to add their mobile numbers to their profile so we can send consented SMS.However when I try to add items to the profile sign up the phone number option isn’t there. Whats the best way to achieve this?

Hi,I did a shopping cart abandonment reduction campaign on Optimonk. I collect the email address. List it in optimonl. Klaviyo connection is fine. Still no email address is received in Klaviyo. Is there a way to know if your newsletter subscribers follow you on your other social channels?

Just wondering, in the hopes of more segmentation for my audience. If there was a way you could tell if a customer who has subscribed to your newsletter has subscribed to your other media channels.  For instance in our Post-Purchase Flow I have an email specifically for promoting other social media channels and if I knew which ones my customers subscribed to I could promote specific channels or not at all. just wondering if this is possible. Or there is an app integration for this thanks.

Removing Wholesale Orders from Campaign Data

I use Klaviyo & Shopify for both Wholesale & Retail. Often, an email will go out and, unrelatedly, a wholesale order will come in. That order is reflected in the campaign sales. How do I change that? I already have any customer with a wholesale tag in shopify segmented in Klaviyo and a separate wholesale list.Thanks!

Is it possible to segment by date where the date is NOT in the next 5 days?

HiI’ve built 2 different segments to trigger 2 different flows. They are very similar but one just triggers when a person becomes a customer and the other is the same but has different content based on whether they are within 5 days of their start date. So I need to exclude customers in the first flow whose start date is in the next 5 days. I see that you can segment by date  i.e. in the last five days and  in the next five days but you can’t do the negative version i.e. is NOT in the next five days. See belowWhat I need is regular_days_start_date is NOT in the next 5 days.Is this condition not available?ThanksSean

Segment delay making pop up forms useless

So I’m trying to attach my pop up form to my welcome flow, but it takes 7 minutes or more for the segmentation to update, making the pop up form very inefficient.How can I get my pop up form to trigger my welcome flow immediately?
