Conditional split with one message?

Would you want to do the split by the purchase rather than a code (that’s what you are after, I gather, the code is just an incentive towards that). Or am I missing something?

Send email to customer when a specific product is ordered

This article explains how to share this type of asset: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005256968-How-to-embed-assets-directly-in-an-email-#you-will-learn0 Generally you can’t send a PDF attachment through Klaviyo directly and doing it outside of Klaviyo to a large audience would likely end up with all of the emails going to the spam folder.  Even a link to a document can be seen as potentially risky. It’s probably better to get the content onto a webpage or have a PDF viewer on your site where people can land and see it that way.

Suspicious Number of New Subscribers

We’ve seen this time and again. Email validators are great and definitely advised. While double opt-in can be a solution, we usually don’t recommend it. You end up losing out on quite a few real people by enabling it. Before doing anything, you should make sure you are rejecting robots from your site in your server settings, there are also server-side tools you can implement to try and block them. When we see an influx of what seem to be fake users (which often come through things like site support chat apps) we will create segments to try to make sure they are having some activity along with the sign up. If you create a segment of users that recently signed up, but have no product views, no cart adds, or even sometimes not even Active on Site, that can be an immediate red flag. As this is a constant problem for everyone, email validators are a good periodic check, but you need something active as you don’t want to be charged for sending emails to fake addresses. There also some tools

Question on browse abandonment email

To go a little further, if you go to Analytics > Metrics > Viewed Product and check, you can see that each product that is visited generates the Viewed Product event, which is visible the feed. For Samatha, the first product at 8:16 a.m. would trigger the Just Browsing series (a.k.a. Browse Abandonment). Then if set up incorrectly, the subsequent visits would trigger it.  That’s really the challenge with this flow. Which product is the one that the visitors in interested in? The first? The last? Probably not the second as she immediately changed.  That’s why I call this Just Browsing, rather than Browse Abandonment. It’s to remind people that it’s like someone at store kind of wondering around. If you ran after them after every single thing they touched or just showed them the first thing, it would really annoy them.  We find that sending a couple emails highlighting Best Sellers, New Arrivals, Why Buy?, or other more general content works better based on how little we know about

Adding a qustionaire to thank you email to allow customers to be added to a list?

That’s a great question. There are many different ways to go about this. For example, you can either have people click on a link and update their profile property based on what they select in the email. Alternatively you can bring them to the site and show them a quiz popup. When someone clicks an email and you update their profile you would have a flow that would trigger based on that. Here is how you would update a profile property based on a clicked link. https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005255248-How-to-update-a-profile-property-when-someone-clicks-a-link#you-will-learn0Regarding triggering it, you could probably best create a segment that looks for that specific property and then someone would automatically be added, triggering the flow. https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003040052-How-to-create-a-segment-triggered-flow#you-will-learn0

Abandoned Cart Flow vs Abandoned Checkout Flow Performance Comparison

@motionrc over the last 90 days, what we’ve seen for our clients is that on average the split is around 2:1.Of the clients we manage:80%, the Checkout outperformed the Cart 10%,  the Checkout far outperformed the Cart (10:1) The smaller the client the more likely the cart outperformed (small being <$500k annual salesIt’s pretty typical from what we’ve seen. It also can depend on which touchpoint you offer discounts or in when those touch points are sent. It’s pretty typical that the closer to the purchase something is, the more likely it is to convert.  Hope that helps.​​​​​​​-Essence of Email
