Access Klaviyo email addresses in Javascript to pass to Lucky Orange

No need to mess with the GET API or anything like that. You can read the user’s email address out of the Klaviyo cookie, and then use that in your Lucky Orange code.    Basically if the cookie exists, grab the email address and use that as your identification variable. Do you have someone on your team familiar with javascript that can code that up for you?   I don’t think this works anymore, per the below comment from a Klaviyo rep (which is why I was testing going down the GET API path)...   Hi Klaviyo I can not make this code work anymore. Getting the user email address from a cookie

FYI I think it might no longer be supported to grab an email address from the Klaviyo cookie, though I’d love to be proven wrong on this…

Pre-populating user email address field in non-Klaviyo Forms

If you wanted to pre-fill the email address form with the email address that Klaviyo already has collected (if a user has been cookied), you could do so by using “_learnq.identify()” If you open your browser’s console and enter “_learnq.identify()”, you’ll be able to see the email address Klaviyo has collected if you’ve been cookied. To pre-fill a form, you could use “_learnq.identify().$email”, for example. You would want to make sure to have an “if” statement for the case in which the user has not been identified and there is no email address available.   I think this no longer works, but I’d love it if you knew a workaround to grab the email address of the current cookied user.See this thread for more info on that technique not being available…

New 'Home' & Dashboards Update

I’m frustrated that I can’t find an “All Metrics” Activity Feed anymore.We’re a small shop and I logged in at least several times a week to get an overview of what individual customers were doing, see if there were profiles I might need to merge, see if there were any unsubscribes, and just debug what’s going on.I can’t seem to find it in the new Klaviyo.

@Wear Skinnys have you managed to find any solution for this problem? also, i’m confused on how is it even possible to make an API if you don’t have any information on the klaviyo profile (as it’s securely hashed as you mentioned in your replies)...  No! It ended up being very frustrating. I got to a 75% solution by just grabbing events from multiple places where emails might be captured (e.g., when someone spins a Wheelio, when Shopify shows an order confirmation, etc.) but it’s messy and buggy.The server side API of Klaviyo likely exposes the emails (for use by apps that actually natively integrate and can open a server-side connection)…But nothing on the browser/client side (Javascript) that would be useful by other tracking apps in the stack that don’t otherwise already integrate with Klaviyo.

Initial source tracking pre-cookie

That’s not it. It just won’t identify Pinterest traffic if it came in before being cookied.If you check metrics - placed order - activity feed tab and filter by UTM source you should be able to get a view of what you want to see but not sure what your use case is? That’s the point. It’s not there. It’s not logging Pinterest traffic. Even though both Shopify AND Lucky Orange are.
