Merge Bug with Supressed Profile

Having issues with an account which was merged.  Scenario:Old account is suppressed due to an email bounce.  The email address had a typo in it. New account is active with corrected email address. Customer set up a new account rather than correcting the error & customer has been using new account for a few weeks, receiving emails and is subscribed Merged old account into new account to carry over historical data New account is now “Suppressed Due to Bounce” even though this account has a proper email, customer receives and opens emails regularly. No way to remove suppression.

Random CURL Failures/0 Responses Today

I’ve submitted three tickets on Klaviyo support but heard nothing back.  This is atypical, I usually hear within an hour or two but the oldest ticket is over 12 hours old.Starting early this AM my curl calls to Track and Idenfiy API started failing/returning 0.  We made no code changes to these systems for weeks.  We log all failed calls and I’ve validated that all the JSON is accurate for these calls.  These failures lasted for a few hours before returning to normal operation.  System hiccup, I assumed, though there were no system status updates that I saw.Unfortunately these errors started popping up again about 30 minutes ago.  All my track and identify API calls are returning 0, and all logged JSON is accurate.Is anyone else having these problems? Is klaviyo having issues they aren’t reporting?  Is there some other cause of these seemingly random failure times?

Duplicate Profiles & Customer IDs

Firstly, the API doc says:If you choose to use your own unique identifier with the $id key, you take on the full responsibility of identity management within your Klaviyo account. You must ensure that all calls are made mapping the right $id value you're setting to the right $email. If you send some calls with $id only, these profiles will exist without any associated $email. If calls then come in for the same person, but only $email is part of the request, a permanent duplicate profile will get created for the same person. Given the complexity of ensuring $id and $email are mapped correctly with every call across all data sources, we recommend exclusively using email address to identify individuals. Because of this I originally planned to NOT give our internal ID information to Klaviyo.  However, I was unable to figure out how to update a customer email address without creating a new account (preserve order/browse history) if I didn’t have the unique ID.Therefore, I inserted the $id i

Track API Special Character Limits?

Exeperiencing intermittent track API failures and was able to isolate that any call with the “ * ” character in it will fail.  I was not aware of any JSON limitation with * so this was suprising.  Is there a document that can outline special chacter restrictions and how/if they can be esacaped (beyond the standard JSON).

Modify Order Contents

Trying to determine if it is possible to modify the properties of an order after it is submitted to Klaviyo.  I am running both a placed order event as well as an ordered product event.  I am using the same unique order ID when submitting a call with modified order contents. It seems that any duplicate events with the same order ID are ignored by Klaviyo (this behavior is expected as this is outlined in the API docs).  I do not want to “Cancel” the order as the order ID is still valid. Is it possible to “edit” order contents - remove items, modify qty etc?  Alternatively, is it possible to delete and order and its associated products so then I can re-add?
