Hi Klaviyo Community,

My sister sells a lot on Etsy and I’ve convinced her of the power of email marketing with Klaviyo because it’s worked so well for me.

I know Klaviyo and Etsy don’t have a direct integration but is there a way we can get her Etsy audience/customers to join her mailing list on Klaviyo?

I know I can build out a pretty basic but effective email sign up form but I don’t know if it’ll work on Etsy or if we’re even okay to do that.

I just feel like it’s such a loss to have all these people on her store, buying from her and not actively marketing them. I obviously don’t want to market them without consent.

Maybe adding a link to the sign up form on the Etsy transactional email to invite them to join our community?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Warm regards,

SmileyRox 😀

Hi @smileyrox

This question was asked in the community a couple of years ago, but I don't think they still have a native integration with Klaviyo, but if you have a team of developers, it is possible to bring in that data by creating a custom integration with API.

here is the link to this conversation -

I hope this helps.

Hi there,

You can use Zapier (or Make) to get your customers from Etsy into a Google Sheet, then you use the same third-party tool (Zapier or Make) to push data from the Google Sheet to Klaviyo.

I’d recommend Make . com since it provides you with more credit (free version) so you can launch your process twice a day. Zapier offers 100 tasks per month so you can probably synchronize everything (Etsy → Google Sheets - Google Sheets → Klaviyo) once a day.

You can mix between both of them to sync from Etsy to Google Sheets through Zapier for example, then sync from Google Sheets to Klaviyo through Make.

However, I’m not sure if Etsy allow the use of their customers’ emails since the data belongs to the plateform.

G.
