Implement Abandoned Cart with klaviyo and commerce js

Hi @marken3  Thank you for posting in the Community. I understand, that you are looking to setup a custom integration and a guide to that is available in link that @Brian Turcotte provided. It is however important to mention, that a setup with abandoned carts also would require server-side tracking of Placed orders because you would need the filter on the flow to send out the those, who have actually abandoned their cart.  Have you already setup up some client side tracking and the Klaviyo.js on your site? Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to your answer.

Hi there @807Ave  Thank your for posting your question in the Community! Regarding the error you are seeing when trying to create a access Lists & Segments; In your browser, have you tried Clearing your cache and cookies and close out the browser? I hope this helps, otherwise let me know!

How do I make the item name appear on Abandoned Cart

Hi there! Thank you for posting in the Community! In order to answer your question in the best possible way I would need some background information. Which CMS are you currently operating in? If it is Shopify for example you need to set up the Added to Cart script first before the metric sends over this information. This article can help you here. If you already have the metric available, you should be able to pull the dynamic data when previewing events under “Preview and test” within the email. It should look something like below. Then you simple click on “AddedItemProductNAme” and it will copy the code for you to use in the e-mail. In this case, it looks like this: {{ event.AddedItemProductName|default:'' }}Hope this helps, otherwise let me know! In terms of help documents there is a lot to explore in this article, but please not that the event variables differ from CMS integration to CMS integration. Kind regardsAnna Sophie

Discrepancy between subscribers through sign-up forms and lists

Hi there! Could it be, that you have double opt-in on the list, that you are subscribing them to? Once removing this, the subscribers are automatically added to list without having to confirm the subscription. Check with native laws before removing it - some countries require these. Otherwise, if it is an old list with single opt-in it could be, that the subscribers are already in your list. This would though update their $source as the one you’ve chosen for the sign-up form.  Let me know!

Dynamic data in body of email

Hi there! Yes, by shooting a wildcard you can see the available data from the product catalog: Example: {% catalog event.ProductID %} {{ catalog_item }} {% endcatalog %} And if the product_type is an available data point, you can set it up by saying: {% catalog item.ProductID %} {{ catalog_item.metadata|lookup:"product_type" }} {% endcatalog %} - and then add a default value if the product type is not on all products. This should work for your dynamic abandoned cart table. Hope this helps!
