Klaviyo and bigcommerce sending domain setuo

>  I already stated that I pasted in the CNAME and TXT record info from Klaviyo into the appropriate area in BC and that it wasn’t working.  Hi Kyle,Unfortunately because I can not access your DNS settings within bigcommerce I must direct you to BigCommerce support: https://support.bigcommerce.com/SupportLiveAgentPreChatPage Make sure to tell them that you need to set up the following 4 DNS records which you can access from Klaviyo Settings > Email > Domain. Also, make sure you are not falling into the same pitfall another Big Commerce customer reported below. I am just guessing this might be your issue as well, as I really do not have any visibility into BigCommerce’s DNS management system.If for some reason Big Commerce Support says that this is impossible please get them to explain why so I can discuss these reasons with my team. Potential BigCommerce pitfallmake sure you are entering the full domain Name in the Name field, not just the sub-domain ie. “send”Above is an exam

Klaviyo still saying we haven't set up branded sending domain but we have? I’m an agency so my client is the one sorting it, but he said he had. Any common pitfalls we could be doing wrong, or is this just a generic thing?     Without knowing the domain or the customer it’s hard to say. It could be that the branded sending domain isn’t being used in all active flows plus campaigns in draft. Also look at the default sender address for the account and make sure that is set correctly as well.Try double checking each of the checklist items using this resource: https://academy.klaviyo.com/verify-that-your-account-meets-new-sender-requirements/1855459

Hey there, I’m working with a brand who are nowhere near the bulk sender levels, just a few hundred messages per day at most. We haven’t prioritised moving to a branded sending domain as I was under the impression it was only an essential for those bulk senders. However, all of our flows are now marked with a ! symbol and say emails will stop sending soon because our account is not compliant.  Is that correct? Can we continue to use a shared domain and successfully email Gmail accounts if we are a smaller account, or is it a blanket ban on non-branded domains after all?  We strongly recommend everyone set up a branded sending domain, and DMARC if they haven't already. If you are a bulk sender this is a requirement. Even if you are not a bulk sender, then this is still considered the best practice to allow for growth and to enable brands to own their own sending reputation.That said you will see the checklist in-app if you have more than 5000 profiles in the account. Heya! Can anyone help on this? :)  Hi Rae, I just looked up your domain and I can see that your DMARC policy is propogated and Valid: That’s all that matters for that requirement. I can also see that your branded sending domain is Active from your domain settings. You should contact support for more questions, but I can tell you now you should be all set! 👍 Way to be compliant.

Hey Guys,   If I already bought my domain via Shopify back then, how do I verify it? I can't add any NS entries in my domain settings in Shopify. Does anyone have any advice? Shopify is actually adding DMARC records for the domains that they host DNS settings for. So you should check to see if they have already added a DMARC record for your domain. You can use a third party tool such as EasyDMARC to check for this. Just replace where it says yourdomain.com in the URL below:https://easydmarc.com/tools/dmarc-lookup?domain=yourdomain.com

Such a helpful webinar today, THANK YOU Klaviyo!  I’m a little worried about two of my reports… The below has 2 warnings; I think it’s really just the Rua tag that should be addressed. Is that for the Domain Policy=None? On the call, it was suggested that we use another reporting tool like EasyDmarc to monitor our stuff to maybe change things down the road - to quarantine and/or reject. Is that necessary?   I’m also questioning this scan… This doesn’t look so good, lol. Overall results 1 of 10? What does the orange and red dots mean? Is the third green and thats where we should be? Would love your advice on this too.   Much thx. Thank you for the webinar! It was mentioned that Klaviyo would be automatically adding the one-click Unsubscribe to our email headers. Is this functionality live now? What if we’re not seeing these added to our emails?  We cannot guarantee that the header unsubscribe button will appear for a given email. This is completely at the discretion of the inbox provider. Even if the button does not appear, the email is still compliant.

Do the records/text we need to add in our Domain Providers have to come from a third party? OR will I be able to just enter the correct text/policies that are in the Klaviyo support articles and links? This is in regards to creating/publishing a DMARC policy, I would ideally like to do this on my own without having to hire a third-party Hey @chefdare if you do not already have a DMARC policy and you just want to add the simplest record which will get you compliant with the new requirements then you can add the DNS record below: Type: TXT Host: _dmarc Value: v=DMARC1; p=none; … if you want to add a rua tag then I would suggest you pay for a third party DMARC Manager service such as Valimail.A DMARC Manager can also help you if you ever choose to advance your DMARC policy to be more secure than “p=none;”. In other words... switching your DMARC policy from "none" to "quarantine" or "reject."
