Long sunset - spreading out profiles over email sends

Setting up a sunset strategy for an ecommerce brand, that is heavily influenced by seasonality. Meaning that the biggest portion of customers are usually most interested at the start of the season (spring in this case) and might update their equipment then. People might also skip a couple of years and not buy anything but around every 5 years they ought to have returned (if not, they have quit the hobby). We need to be with them at the moment they do decide to make another purchase.We send out weekly newsletters currently with promotions. If I’d go by the usual 60/90 days to suppress profiles, we’d be missing out on them next season. Hence, I’m trying to come up with ways to counter this.Thinking about something along the lines of:First part of the strategy60d no engagement: change frequency from weekly to monthly trigger based: open/click newsletter? change back to weekly 60-180d no engagement: no more newsletters (but don’t suppress) Trigger based: viewed website? Change back to mon

Cross sell flow split in different brands

Hi, how to start with the following:Person ordered a product of category e.g. helmet Person did not order accessory for it e.g. helmet bagWe want to send them a follow-up email.The trigger (ordered product category x) and flow filter (did not order category y) is pretty clear I think?But there are different brands of helmet in our offering and different bags that are suited to specific brands only. So I’m trying to find out how I can personalize the email subject and body and how to incorporate everything in the flow (e.g. split flow into brands or conditional blocks)We want to customize the subject of the mail: here is a bag for your [brand of helmet] helmet In the body we want to show only the bags that are fit for that helmet brand or even for that specific helmet. Is there a way to do this without having to create a new flow for each helmet?

How to expire a profile property

I’m trying to create a campaign with 1 email that will contain different blocks (different categories of products). If they have looked at a product of a given category, they will see that block, otherwise get a default block.I have created segments of the categories to send the mailing to and am now trying to create a flow that creates a profile property so that I can used that in the show/hide logic. I can do: if viewed product of category x > create a custom property > … but what is the correct way to ‘expire’ this tag? E.g. after 60 days make it ‘false’ instead of ‘true’ or delete the property all together.Added complexity is that every new viewed product starts a new 60-day cycle in the meantime.

Added To Cart mail: showing products from last add to cart event instead of first

We have a custom integration and are sending add to cart events. So each time someone adds a product in their cart, an add-to-cart event fires that includes the latest addedItem and the other items in their cart. We want to send mails on that occasion, but obviously people can add multiple items in a session and we want to include their full cart in the mail, not just the one product from the first add to cart event.So far we were thinking:step 1: start flow. Trigger = add to cart event step 2: wait 3 hours 59 minutes step 3: conditional split: what someone has done (or not done) Person has Added to cart (API) is at most 1 in the last 4 hours This wayEvery add to cart event that was preceded by another one in the last 4 hours is skipped, allowing some time to conclude their shopping session, and only the last added to cart event will be used to send out an automated mail. What I’m still missing: I want to setup some measure to make sure this can only happen once every week, so
