Hello,

I’ve been aked to send separate campaigns to my subscribers based on their preferred language—French and English.

What I currently do is clone each campaign and send it to two separate segments: one for French-speaking subscribers and one for English-speaking ones.

The challenge is that the size of these segments is very different, which impacts the overall performance of my campaigns. It’s also quite time-consuming to duplicate every campaign for just one topic.

As a result, I’m seeing significantly weaker performance and lower engagement metrics from my French-speaking segment, which is skewing my overall campaign data and reports.

Do you have any tips or alternative solutions to continue sending emails in each subscriber’s preferred language, while preserving healthy deliverability and more balanced performance?

Thank you in advance!

Hi @EDBeauté2025 ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! Your strategy above is typically how we would recommend sending campaigns to customers that speak different languages. If you are seeing that the French-speaking segment is not performing as well as you’d like, you may want to consider making engaged segments for each language. Here is an example of what those segment definitions would look like:

Properties about someone > language equals French

AND

If someone can or cannot receive marketing > can receive > email marketing > because person subscribed

AND

What someone has done or not done > Opened email > at least once in the last 30 days

OR

What someone has done > Clicked email > at least once in the last 30 days

OR

If someone can or cannot receive marketing > can receive > email marketing > because person subscribed > and subscribe date is in the last 15 days

This ensures that you are only sending to your most engaged, French-speaking customers who are more likely to open and click your campaign emails.

I hope this is helpful, and please let me know if you have any additional questions!
