Would it be possible for me to embed the Klaviyo opt-in form into a section though? If so, how does that work?

Yes, in Klaviyo, you can create a full-page form that serves as a landing page on its own called a subscribe page. You can then embed that full subscribe page on your website. All of the instructions for doing so are outlined here.
