Hi there!

I’ve made a functional manage preferences and unsubscribe page. Now, I want to make a hosted page for subscription as well. But it really doesn’t work out as I want it to. The style is fine… however pressing the submit-button only returns a “your preferences has been updated” message, and no mail has been added to the list.

Hope for a little help!

Hi @Gajzii,

Thanks for sharing this question with us.

The Hosted Pages feature is meant to provide a blank slate for developers or code-savvy marketers and unfortunately we don’t currently assist with troubleshooting specific code.

I recommend navigating to the default subscribe page for the list and then inspecting the button. This will give you an idea for the code you’ll need to submit the user. You can read more about pages relating to your list in our Guide to Understanding Opt-in Related Pages for a List

Of course, the default subscribe page is always there as a fallback option. If you’d like further assistance with this, I recommend reaching out to an awesome Klaviyo partner

Also, keep in mind that a user will have to confirm their subscription before they are added to the list. This is per our double-opt in process which is enabled for all of your lists by default. This can be changed to single opt-in in the list settings if you wish.

I hope that’s helpful and thanks for being a community member.
