I’m writing to express a major concern regarding Klaviyo’s lack of built-in, automated email validation. Currently, there is no native system to verify if an email address is valid or "safe to send" before a campaign or flow is triggered.
Why this is a problem:
-
Increased Bounce Rates: Without pre-send validation, we are forced to send to potentially "bad" or "disposable" emails, leading to unnecessarily high hard bounce rates.
-
Domain Reputation: Consistent bounces signal to ISPs (like Gmail and Yahoo) that we aren't maintaining a clean list, which directly harms our sender reputation and landing rates.
-
Cost & Manual Effort: Relying on third-party integration tools (like NeverBounce or Kickbox) adds extra costs and creates a fragmented workflow.
As a premium marketing automation tool, Klaviyo should mitigate these risks by identifying invalid emails at the point of signup or right before a send occurs. This shouldn't be something users have to "solve" with outside tools—it should be a core part of the platform's deliverability protection.
