Hi! What would happen if we’ll be using the same email template for our post-purchase and welcome flows? Would they be considered duplicates?

 

 Or should the email templates for both the post-purchase and welcome flows be different?

@jcaballe I don’t think having same template is a bad thing, that may be a good thing. Just make sure the content (text) in the template is different for different emails


I couldn’t agree more with @Bobi N.  on this! Using the same branded email template can save you a lot of time. You’ll definitely want to edit the text in the email to ensure the messaging is different. People who trigger a welcome flow are at a different point in their journey with your brand as people who trigger a post-purchase message. As long as you adjust the copy of the email, it’s totally okay to use the same template!
