I need some help with enabling AMP templates. I have just recently registered with Zaymo and I would like to start using this integration. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

  1. Ensure Zaymo Integration: First, make sure that your Zaymo account is properly integrated with your email platform (e.g., Klaviyo). Check their documentation for detailed instructions on connecting the two services.
  2. Access AMP Templates: In your Zaymo dashboard, look for the section related to email templates. You should find an option for creating or enabling AMP templates.
  3. Create or Edit an AMP Template:
    • You can either create a new template or edit an existing one to include AMP features. Ensure that you select the AMP option when creating or editing.
    • Use the provided components to add interactive elements like carousels, forms, or dynamic content.
  4. Test Your Template: Before sending, thoroughly test your AMP email. Most platforms, including Zaymo, offer a preview feature. Make sure to check how it renders in both AMP and non-AMP versions.
  5. Sending AMP Emails: When you’re ready, create your campaign and select the AMP template. Ensure that you also have a fallback version for email clients that do not support AMP.
  6. Monitor Performance: After sending your AMP emails, monitor their performance through Zaymo’s analytics to see how they’re received and engaged with by your audience.

Hi Betty, hopefully you were able to get Zaymo interactive emails working in your account!

If you’re still finding issues (or anyone else who finds this thread does), here are the steps to take:

*Before you begin sending AMP emails through Klaviyo, ensure that AMP is enabled on your Klaviyo account. If you still need to enable that, use these instructions*

  1. Import your templates from Klaviyo into your Zaymo account using the ‘Import from ESP’ button on the ‘Email Templates’ page of the Zaymo platform.
    • Zaymo is an AMP-first email builder platform. When you create an AMP-enabled email using the Zaymo builder, you will be able to Export that email for use in Klaviyo.
  2. When you click Export, the basic HTML template will be sent automatically to your Klaviyo Templates.
  3. The AMP file needs to be manually added onto that template, so after you export from Zaymo you will see a screen that allows you to ‘copy’ the AMP content.
  4. Click the three dots on your Klaviyo template, and select ‘Create AMP Version’ and paste the content from Zaymo into that editor box.
  5. Hit Save, and you’re done! Now when that email Template is sent out to your customers, it will include both the AMP version, as well as an HTML fallback in case the customer doesn’t use an AMP-enabled email provider.

Best of luck with the integration and AMP emails!
