New subscribers locations are always wrong

Question

Hi everyone, I’m just testing out Klaviyo to see if it is going to fit our needs so don’t have a full paid account yet, but everytime I add a subscriber from an embedded form in our website, it shows the location as France and I am in Australia, this in turn leads to spam and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong ?

@Laswell,Welcome to the community.It seems like you're asking a couple of questionsWhen signing up - location is shown as France while you're in AustraliaCan you elaborate - are you using a VPN?Using Shopify? If not where is the shop hosted?Location is based on IP lookup most of the times - I would not expect this to be 100% accurate.Leads are turend to spamDo you mean when someone signs up and you want to send them an email the emails land in spam?
