Just wanting to start a discussion regarding the Apple Mail Category updates that have come in to full force in Australia over the last few months.
As many other businesses will be, we are landing in the promotions category for our email campaigns.
As much as I appreciate the de-cluttering of an inbox from a customer perspective, I can’t help but hate the grouping of messages per sender within these tabs. When I open a businesses email in the promos tab, I am taken immediately to their oldest email and it is cropped to the first half of the header. I have attached an example from another business - this is what I saw immediately after I clicked their newest email campaign.
There is no surprise our placed order rates are taking a huge hit along with our revenue.
Is anyone else experiencing a drop in results correlating with this, or if you are successfully combating the impact do you have any advice?
