I am trying to change the mobile number attached to the security of our account.

I have tried to follow other step by step guidelines but there is no option to disable the two factor on my settings (in order to then change number and re-enable).

In order to change the phone number associated with your SMS MFA set up, you will need to disable SMS MFA entirely and then re-add with the new number you would like to use. To do this, you’ll need a secondary MFA method set up, as MFA can’t be disabled entirely for your account. I’d recommend setting up MFA with an authenticator app, and once you have that set up, you can disable SMS MFA, and set it up with a new phone number. From there, you can disable MFA via the authenticator app, so SMS MFA is the only active method.
