Hi @alexaqliedtke,
Welcome to the community! You’re looking to edit your coupon without giving the incorrect coupon to people who are already in the flow, correct? This can be done pretty quickly, by simply editing the coupon in Klaviyo (as long as it’s not a manually uploaded coupon). Editing the coupon and changing the discount from 20% to 15% will apply to everybody who enters your flow going forward, but won’t apply to people who have already received that first/second email in the flow and are waiting on the subsequent emails. For these people, their coupon already generated, and has granted them 20% off. Changing the discount won’t change the discount of anybody who already received the coupon, and it also won’t impact their ability to see the correct coupon in the second and third email of the flow.
Let me know if I can answer any additional questions!

Hi @alexaqliedtke
I test different welcome flow orders often!
My strategy is
(1) duplicate the sign in unit and change it from 20% to 15% - copy the sign in ID number (will show up in the URL
(2) duplicate the current welcome journey, then change the offer from 20% to 15%
(3) add a condition to the flow that only customers coming from welcome journey (1) will enter this welcome journey.
This will allow for customers that came from the 15% off unit to get the 15% off welcome journey.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Byrne C !
Thanks for your response. So the coupon is generated through Shopify, not Klaviyo, which complicates things for me.
@MichalSofia I will look into this, thank you! When you say sign in unit, do you mean the sign up form to receive the discount?
Hi @alexaqliedtke,
In that case, you’d likely want to make a new coupon, rather than changing the current one. From there, you can add a conditional split at the very top of your flow that sends all new entrants down a new path of the flow. You can add your new discount code into the emails in that new path. That way, everybody who’s already in the flow will continue to receive the old emails with the old coupon, and all new entrants will receive emails with the new coupon.
You can make a conditional split with the definition “Person is in X list and was added in the last 1 hours.” X would be the name of the list that triggers the welcome flow. People who go down the YES path are all new entrants to that flow, and can receive your emails with the new coupon code, while everybody who’s already in the flow will receive emails with your old discount code in it, and will eventually leave the flow.
Let me know if this helps, or if I can answer any additional questions about this!
