Feature Request: Already subscribed message for signup forms

For some reason this request was marked as solved when it hasn’t been.

This issue has been identified and on the to do list for at least 4 years now. Over 1500 people have view the request along with a bunch of posts from people every 3 or so months asking when this will be resolved.

This is a basic feature and it makes no sense that Klaviyo hasn’t fixed it yet. When a user goes to your website if they already have a profile the signup form shouldn’t just disappear it should state “Already Subscribed” or some other custom message.

Its more of a bug fix than a feature request since it causes you to either have customers signup multiple times or you website is just blank and it confuses your customers who might not have remembered signing up.

Can we please get a date for when this issue will be resolved?

Totally understand your frustration, and I recognize that this is a feature that lots of community members would really benefit from. Having forms that let site visitors know that they already submitted will ensure they’re not confused if they don’t receive a welcome message/coupon, and will also cut down on duplicate signups. I spoke to our product team and raised both your and the linked community posts, letting them know that this is a very highly requested feature that our customers would find useful!

Thanks for the quick and positive response - but this is a very similar response to one given 4 years ago. Can you please loop back to us next week with a timeline from the product team on when it will be implemented. I think after 4 years the community deserves a clear timeline and commitment from the product team to get this fixed.

I agree ​@Base4_JM! And my client also asked me if he is already subscriber and why seeing signup form again and again and its doesn’t seem to be user friendly then.

I love klaviyo from heart but sharing feedback matter.
