One of my client is using funnelish landing page. When someone click buy now, they will be redirected to shopify checkout. My question is:
1. How do I setup flows on that case? should I use shopify checkout started trigger to setup the abandoned checkout flows?

2. How many flows will I be able to create in that case?
3. Do I need to setup funnelish automations other than that? If so, what kind?

Please help!

@Sam91 have you integrated the Klaviyo account with Shopify?  is it recording Started Checkout events or just Placed orders? I would imagine persons are not redirecting to Shopify if abandoning a checkout in which case you will need to fire the Started Checkout from Funnelish.

Hi @Sam91,

If your Shopify store is integrated with Klaviyo, they’ll record a Checkout Started event in Klaviyo as long as they enter their email on the Shopify checkout page. You can set Checkout Started as the trigger for your abandoned checkout flow.

The other flows you set up are up to you. If site visitors aren’t browsing your Shopify store when looking at products and adding them to their cart, then Shopify metrics like Added to Cart won’t apply here. If you were looking to record events like Active on Site, Viewed Product, and Added to Cart, and then set up flows triggered by these events, you or your developer would want to follow our guide Integrate an ecommerce platform with Klaviyo without a pre-built integration. This would involve adding code snippets to your site that would allow you to track activity of your site visitors and send it to Klaviyo. Just to clarify, you’d only do this if site people browse and view products on is not Shopify.

Finally, regarding Funnelish automations  - since Funnelish is a 3rd party app, we have limited insight on what you need to do within it, but I’d definitely say it’s a good idea to create automations in Funnelish for any information you can’t push to Klaviyo.
