Hello everyone

Let’s say I have this Domain; deutscheonline.com, and my sender email is send@deutscheonline.com - for the German Market.

The issue is, that now I have several regions that I am working on, like Finland, Australia etc. and I want to change my sender email for each region every-time I send them emails.

  • Is it possible to create Domain for each region?
  • If not, should I change my domain to something more global and change my sender email each time? but it will damage my domain reputation, right?
  • How you recommend to handle this situation?

Hey @Joni, great question!

The best course of action is to have one parent domain, which is deutscheonline.com, and several region-specific child subdomains, such as fr.deutscheonline.com (or similar).

From there, you can then use what Kaila suggested in THIS POST to organize your subdomains and the FROM addresses, and you should be all set.

Let me know if that works for you!

Hi @Joni - this is a great question, and you’re thinking about this the right way!

Here’s how I’d approach it:

  1. Yes, you can create separate sending domains like send.fi.deutscheonline.com or send.au.deutscheonline.com to maintain regional branding and control reputation. This allows you to segment deliverability and performance by region while keeping everything under the parent brand.

  2. Avoid constantly switching sender emails on a single domain (e.g. send@deutscheonline.com) for each region, it can hurt your deliverability over time and confuse inbox filters.

  3. Alternative global approach: If you want a more scalable solution, use a global domain like send@deutschegroup.com, and segment your regional messaging and lists inside Klaviyo. This lets you manage everything from one central sending domain with good infrastructure and warming practices, while still tailoring the content per region. Another options would be to have a separate Klaviyo account for each region and you can set up a portfolio account to easily share campaigns and aggregate data across your business.

  4. Best practice: Keep consistent sending emails per region or domain. If you’re sending a decent volume in each market, dedicating a subdomain per region is ideal for both branding and inbox placement.
