We’d love some tips on how to increase click rates. How can we increase our click rates? Our open rates are very good at over 70%. Our click rates need lots of help. Thanks!

Hi @DStokes2 !

It’s fantastic to hear your open rates are sitting above 70% — that’s a strong signal your subject lines and send times are working well. When it comes to improving click rates, here are a few practical strategies you can try:

1. Revisit Your Email Layout
Make sure your emails are skimmable, mobile-optimised, and visually engaging. Use clear hierarchy: lead with a strong image or headline, then guide the reader to the CTA.

Tip: If you’re including multiple links or products, try a simpler layout with fewer distractions to focus the click.

2. Sharpen Your Call-To-Action (CTA)
Be clear and compelling with your CTAs — use strong verbs and create a sense of urgency or benefit.

Instead of: Shop Now
Try: Unlock Early Access, See the Collection, Claim Your Gift, Find Your Style

Also experiment with CTA placement — test having one above the fold, one mid-email, and one at the end.

3. Test Subject Line vs. Content Alignment
Sometimes emails open because of a strong subject line, but the content doesn’t match what the subscriber expected. Make sure the email immediately delivers on the promise made in the subject line or preview text.

4. Personalise Where You Can
Use dynamic blocks to tailor content to customer preferences, segments, or past behaviour (e.g. product recommendations, category-specific features). More relevant content = more clicks.

5. A/B Test Your Creative + Copy
Set up A/B tests for different hero images, CTA buttons, layout structures, or tone of voice. You might find certain design styles or messages resonate more with your audience.

6. Segment for Intent
Try sending more targeted campaigns based on behaviour — for example, send different versions to active browsers vs. dormant subscribers. Tailoring the message based on engagement level can boost clicks.

7. Limit the Number of Links
If everything is clickable, nothing stands out. Focus your email on a single CTA or 1–2 key actions you want the reader to take.

Improving click rate often takes some testing and refinement — don’t be afraid to experiment. Even small changes can drive big improvements.

Let us know how you go or if you want feedback on a specific email design!
