Hello Klaviyo Community,
I'm currently working on setting up email flows for an upcoming tech product launch and am seeking advice on best practices to ensure effective engagement and conversions.
One area I'm focusing on is highlighting the technical specifications of our new product, particularly its laptop processor capabilities. I want to ensure that the email content effectively communicates the performance benefits to our target audience. Has anyone here successfully emphasized technical features like processors in their email campaigns? I'm interested in strategies for presenting such information in a compelling yet digestible manner.
I've been exploring the resources available on the Klaviyo Community site community.klaviyo.com and have found valuable insights into email flow optimization. However, I'd appreciate any additional tips or examples from fellow members who have experience with tech product promotions.
Additionally, I'm considering segmenting our audience based on their engagement levels to tailor the messaging accordingly. If anyone has experience with advanced segmentation strategies in Klaviyo, especially for tech-savvy audiences, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Looking forward to your suggestions and thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hey gabriellabrowne, I’m also working on Klaviyo and went through something similar during a product launch. One thing that really helped me was having a freelancer who specializes in Klaviyo handle the technical and strategic parts especially when it came to highlighting performance specs like processor capabilities in a way that’s both clear and compelling.
He helped craft content that translated complex technical benefits into simple, benefit-driven language tailored for different segments. For example, for more tech-savvy users, we kept the deeper specs and comparisons, but for broader audiences, we focused on outcomes like speed, multitasking, and battery life improvements.
He also set up advanced segmentation based on open/click behavior and interest tags, which really boosted engagement. If you’d like, I can connect you with him he’s been a game changer for me, and I’m sure he could provide you with valuable support as well.

Hi @gabriellabrowne ,
I’ve worked on several tech product launches with Klaviyo, including campaigns that highlight specs like processors.
The key is to turn features into clear benefits (e.g. “12-core processor” → “Flawless multitasking”). Keep it visual and simple.
You're also on the right track with segmentation, I’ve used engagement-based flows to tailor messaging for tech-savvy vs general users.
If you need help mapping it out, happy to support!

Hi @gabriellabrowne,
A few ideas that might help!
For copy & content:
I always try to use email as the hook and let the landing page do the heavy lifting.
I haven’t worked in tech, but I used this principle a lot when working in Beauty Retail. You want the customer to instantly understand what’s in it for me (WIIFM) when reading the email, driving them to clickthrough and discover more on the website. For example, with a retinol serum, the email might say “resurfacing” or “anti-aging” in a snappy one-liner, but the PDP explains the ingredients and science behind how that works. I’d take the same approach here: call out 2–3 key features that drive value, and let the product page explain how it works. Imagery or icons can help do a lot of the storytelling visually too.
For segments & targeting:
If it’s a brand new launch and you want to build some hype, you could add a form or pop-up on your site asking people to subscribe for early access or first look. Anyone who signs up could get a slightly more detailed version of your launch email, since they’ve already shown interest.
If you’ve sold previous versions, you could target those customers with an “upgrade” message that highlights what’s new. Or for a cross-sell, go after people who have purchased complementary products and explain why this one completes their setup.
Good luck with the launch!
