Hi all, thanks for reading!

About a month ago (13th August) I introduced a Micro Yes as an initial step on our Welcome Sign-up Form. There were other small changes to text but this was the main change.

Our submit rate prior to this was hovering around 3% and we were pretty happy with that. Since we added the Micro Yes, it’s skyrocketed to around 12%, some days as high as 15%.

I’m very happy with such a huge submit rate however I’m a bit sceptical too. Could this simple first step really make such a huge difference?

Just throwing it out there to see if others have introduced a similar initial step and seen big gains in submit rate too?

Hi @MMacca,

It might be worth checking to see if these submits are real email addresses, or if they seem like bots. Take a look at the list the form submits to. Is it filled with suspicious looking email addresses (weird combos of letters/numbers, plus signs in the email) or profiles all from one location? If so, the form may be seeing submits from suspicious profiles. Are people submitting the form, and then taking zero other action on your store/not engaging with your emails? That’s another potential sign.

If that’s not happening, then awesome, looks like the change you made worked! Did you also change the targeting settings so the form shows to a different subset of people? That can sometimes be a reason for a change in submit rate.
