Hi! Thanks for reaching out to the community.
Sounds like an odd one! There may have been a glitch however I’ve never experience this myself. Are you able to share the definitions of the segments? You will be able to rectify the issue by creating another segment of those contacts accidentally supressed and manually undo this action.

Hi @B B,
Did you manage to figure this out? As Hayley said, if you’d like to unsuppress these profiles, you can make a segment of everybody who was manually suppressed on a certain day. From there, you can add conditions to the segment, if you want to keep some of these profiles suppressed. After the segment’s created, go to your main Lists & segments page, find the segment, click the 3 dots on the right side of it, then press “Unsuppress current members.”
Let me know if this helps, or if we can help out with anything else!

Hi @B B ,
That’s definitely concerning, and I understand why you’d want clarity on this. Klaviyo shouldn’t suppress profiles outside of the selected segments unless:
There was an overlapping segment filter, causing more profiles to match than expected.
A CSV file upload included extra emails that weren’t originally in your segments.
A bulk suppression action accidentally targeted a broader audience.
To troubleshoot:
Check Klaviyo’s Activity Feed to see the exact suppression details.
Review your suppression method (manual vs. API vs. CSV).
Contact Klaviyo Support if this seems like a system glitch.
If you need expert help to recover lost profiles and ensure future accuracy, I’m here to assist you. Let’s fix this—reach out now!
