Hi
Would you mind providing a bit more detail on what you’re looking to achieve? Are you aiming to send emails advertising your workshops, with the goal of having people sign up for your workshops from those emails, and are you looking for strategies on how to effectively do this through Klaviyo?
If so, I’d recommend taking a look at the Klaviyo Academy, specifically the Digital Marketing Certificate, which is free for all Klaviyo users! It’s a great starting point in learning how to utilize Klaviyo to help achieve your marketing goals. Happy to provide more personalized suggestions as well, once I know a bit more about your goal.
Hi Byrne, i organize workshops bag making in my atelier. My SEO is great and i also run ads trough google. The only ‘problem’ is that when people enter my site and the workshop dates are not suitable they vanish. I want to find a playfull way to ‘keep’ these customers in my orbit. I have a pop-up on my website and for all the different workshops variations (bag models) productpages i also have a embeded form. But i still think i am missing out on a lot of sales because behind those forms there is not a very streamlined strategie. Curious what options you think i’m missing out on.
Thanks for the info!
The main issue I’m getting is that people visit your site with the desire to attend a workshop, but it’s hard to keep that interest high if they don’t sign up for one in the moment. Because of that, I’m thinking it’s going to be important to figure out what specific kind of workshops these site visitors are interested in, create segments based on their interests in Klaviyo, and then send targeted campaigns to each segment when their workshop of interest is available again.
Are you collecting this information yet? If not, I’d highly recommend adding forms to your product pages that give people the option to sign up for updates on the type of workshop they’re specifically interested in. I know you mentioned you have forms - are you only collecting customer emails/phone numbers, or are you also asking them to answer questions/check boxes so you have information on the type of workshop they’re interested in? This article goes over how to set this up.
Assuming you’ve begun to collect this information, and profiles now have custom properties to denote their interests, you can make segments based on these properties, to separate these profiles in to different segments based on their interests. Finally, you’d send targeted campaigns to these segments when new events come up!
If you’re on a Shopify or BigCommerce store, this process gets a bit easier, because you can create Back In Stock forms that allow people to sign up and be notified when a product is available. We have a back in stock flow that you can set up that would automatically send to people who subscribe to these forms, once one of the workshops goes back in stock.
Let me know if the above helps, or if I can answer any more questions about this!
