For Community Member Appreciation Week I am excited to feature some of our most active and inspiring members. I connected with Sujal (KLIENT) to learn more about their background and advice for others, here’s what Sujal had to share:
Can you share a bit about you and your business?
I’m Sujal, from Nepal. Started out doing email gigs back in high school — now I run a full retention agency with my team providing email and sms that’s helped 50+ global brands generate over $10M+ through email and SMS.
What drew you to partner with Klaviyo?
Answer: Honestly? It just worked. The flows, the UI, the logic — it simple, easy and gave me the structure I needed to build systems. Feels like home now.
What attracted you to join the Klaviyo Community?
Answer: I had been following some of the Community Champions for a while. Wanted to see how other operators were thinking. Not just tactics — but actual systems, setups, results.
How has the partnership with the Community affected your business?
Being part of the Community has helped me sharpen what we do. I’ve picked up little tweaks here and there that made big differences in execution. Always learning from what others are testing.
What advice do you have for other potential partners considering joining the Klaviyo Community?
Join if you’re serious about email. Not for the flex. For the feedback. For the reps. There’s a lot of smart people here if you listen more than you talk.
What would you like to see more of in the Community moving forward?
More breakdowns. More proof. Just real operators showing what actually worked and why. Also… a Klaviyo Asia Meetup would be sick 🤞
What’s one thing you think more people should know about the Klaviyo Community?
There’s quiet gold here. If you’re consistent and actually helpful, you’ll get noticed and rewarded.
If you were to share one piece of advice for someone starting out with Klaviyo what would it be?
Don’t overcomplicate it. Use the default templates, set up your flows, then build from there. Klaviyo Academy literally covers everything — just take action.
What’s something you wish someone would have told you when you started out in digital marketing?
It’s not about manipulating a sale. It’s about helping someone make a better decision.
You can hear more from Sujal in the Klaviyo Community of course, but also check out their case studies: http://theklientx.com/case-studies/.
