I need to create an email sign up form with a URL, but instead of it going into a list, is there a way to have it go into a segment?  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @SeatSack

The subscribers would have to go into a list of some sort to have the proper consent on the profile, but you can create a segment based on the sign up $source of these profiles, which is added once they submit the form. Or you can add custom properties to the submit button and set up a segment with these. If you do not wish for these subscribers to receive any welcome message, you can use the $source or the custom property to filter them out of your welcome flow.

You can use the “Announcements” type of sign-up forms, and setup a segment with the following “form submitted by profile WHERE form equals = [[ form_name ]]. This would sent them into a segment, but only if Klaviyo recognizes their profile.

I hope this helps!
