Dear team,

I have a problem with my newsletters when they contain accents. Indeed, in the French language we have many accents, which is absolutely not the case with yours.

Could you tell me if there is a way to avoid this problem in the language of Molière?

Can you explain a bit more (and share screenshots if possible) regarding your issue with accents? Is it a formatting issue with your newsletter, is something displayed incorrectly? Would love to hear more so we can see what we can fix.

I am also having trouble with foreign language accent marks in our newsletter’s integration with Shopify product feed.
Our product is called Tête à Tête.
Within Klaviyo interface, the dynamically generated product is Tête à Tête, but is coming through email with unwanted characters.

To be clear, you are seeing the dynamic product titles correctly in Klaviyo template, but you’re seeing it incorrect in the inbox? 

 

I would try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check on your field mapping and try resyncing your catalog 
  • Make sure all the required field are correct in your backend catalog
