What You’ll Do
As an Email Solutions Specialist at Blue Moon Digital, you will be part of the Email team. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of email campaigns for our global client base in order to maximize ROI and support our clients’ business strategies.
Your Responsibilities
- Email layout and HTML coding for client emails, this includes coding in HTML, testing and troubleshooting
- Proficient with Email Service Providers
- Email metrics reporting from ESP and Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of email strategies to effectively drive consumer engagement on the website
- Proficient with SQL queries
- Continually audit existing client email creative and facilitate steps to ensure a consistent look and feel for our clients’ email programs
- Some after-hours and/or weekend support required; especially October through December
- Code and execute clients’ email programs
- Develop email campaigns, including (but not limited to) trigger-based, responsive design and re-contact email campaigns
- Work with internal and external IT resources to ensure essential technical steps are taken for proper email program setup and integration
- Ensure all client emails comply with current CAN-SPAM and other email legislation
What We’ll Love About You
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Business Communications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of email or marketing experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) email platform preferred
- 1+ year experience in SQL/Amp-Scripting
- Experience with Responsys or Bronto a plus
- Solid technical skills and expertise with HTML and CSS optimized for email deployment with an understanding of the difference between coding for the web and coding for email
- Strong expertise with Adobe PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, and animated gifs/flash
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Email Best Practices and CAN-SPAM compliancy considerations
