Hey Klaviyo Austinites!

We recently launched the official Klaviyo meetup for Austin on September 19th. If you missed this event, watch for the October one and subscribe to our event calendar here! https://lu.ma/atxklaviyomeetups

Attendees discussing logic used in their flows.

Your meetup host Gabrielle Pitman introducing the Core 4* flows.

So how did the first event go?

There wasn't an empty seat in the room.

We hosted an in-person workshop about optimizing your core flows for Q4. If you’re not familiar with what those are, here’s the quick list (ranked in order of priority to launch):

1 - Welcome Series

2 - Abandoned Cart (and Abandoned Checkout)

3 - New Customer Thank You

4 - Repeat Customer Thank You

Here’s an article to help you learn more about these flows, and how to launch them before Black Friday / Cyber Monday, in case it’s helpful!

My favorite question someone asked at our workshop:

"How do you create a personalized Browse Abandonment flow when our store has > 1 million SKUs?"

Here’s a picture of how we answered that question and sketched out her flow logic to build in Klaviyo:

You start by creating conditional splits based on product category, with your highest priority bestseller as the first “checkpoint” in a series of conditional splits.

Now whiteboards are my new favorite teaching tool. They’re so helpful! Especially when you need to give context for *this branch of a flow* and *that branch of a flow,*

Big thank you to the Klaviyo team who came out to support, and our brand attendees. See you soon at October’s event!

Here’s the calendar link again. Subscribe and you’ll get notified when the event is live, so you can save your spot!
