I am creating an embedded newsletter form and getting an error

“Add input field to collect profile properties

This form submits to list but doesn't collect information from visitors on mobile.”

Looking at my mobile preview, i don’t have the input email block but it’s there on desktop. How do i solve this?

I am also getting this error, I have the email block pointing at the email profile property but still getting this error

Hey @maishamagnets & @Nige,

It can be frustrating working on embedded forms sometimes. I’ve created a short list of things that you could try to resolve the issue:

To solve the issue with your Klaviyo embedded newsletter form not displaying the email input field on mobile, follow these consolidated and prioritized steps:

Firstly, Check Your Device Targeting Settings:

Ensure your form is set to display on both desktop and mobile devices. Verify the settings in Klaviyo to make sure the form is correctly configured to be visible on mobile. I would also consider adjusting the width and layout by using a one-column layout for stacking form elements vertically, which will improve your mobile compatibility. You can set the form width to 100% for mobile devices to ensure it fits within the screen.

Alternatively, you can look into cleaning up your HTML code by removing unnecessary tags. Simplify the structure to avoid any potential styling conflicts. Here is an example code that you can copy to accomplish that:

<div class="klaviyo-form-Wr5QWY"></div> <div class="klaviyo-form-R4iziZ"></div>

Also, consider creating a separate form specifically designed for mobile devices to tailor the layout and functionality better for mobile users.

Hopefully these articles could deliver some additional insight to this as well:

Hopefully this helps :)

Thanks for the tips =)

I figured out that it was the wording, I started with a multistep flow email and SMS but deleted the SMS part and then cloned the pop up one for mobile and one for desktop, the error message was actually saying that it wouldnt track on desktop for the mobile flow and vice versa, so it was working as intended, just the wording threw me off.

Thanks for your response.

I got very frustrated and decided to start over and this time had better luck. Although now my embedded form doesn't show on my website despite pasting the correct code.

Hmm, It's possible that the issue with the embedded form could be a bug, especially if you've verified that all settings and configurations are correct. To determine if it's a bug:

  1. Check for Updates: Make sure you are using the latest version of Klaviyo.
  2. Test on Different Browsers: See if the problem persists across different browsers.
  3. Contact Klaviyo Support: Report the issue with detailed information to get confirmation and potential fixes.

Hope this helps.
